In the summer of 2016, a promising young life was cut tragically short on the east side of Buffalo, New York. Daniel Glover, a 17-year-old African-American male, was fatally shot on Wecker Street on the evening of June 19th. The incident marked another grim statistic in the city's struggle with gun violence, leaving a family and community to grapple with a senseless loss.
