Celinda Gonzales, 59, a woman known in the Weitchpec area for her suicide-prevention work, was found dead on the night of February 3, 2026, after deputies were sent to a home on Lewis Road in response to a report of a possible murder-suicide. When law enforcement arrived at the residence in the 900 block, two people were discovered deceased inside.
