On December 30, 2025, Monique Tepe, a 39-year-old female, and her husband, Spencer Tepe, were found dead from gunshot wounds in their Columbus, Ohio, home. Concerned coworkers had prompted a welfare check after the couple failed to show up for work. When officers arrived, they discovered the bodies and the couple's two young children, ages one and four, who were physically unharmed in another room. There were no signs of forced entry, and no weapons were recovered at the scene.
