Born on December 17, 2000, in Mala Kalynivka, Ukraine, Alexander was known by his loved ones as a kindhearted and sweet young man with a charming personality and a quick wit.
He was particularly dedicated to helping his parents and grandfather, a driving force in his all-too-short life.
The fatal incident unfolded around 2:53 AM on January 1, 2026, near Gold Avenue and 8th Street. Albuquerque Police officers in the vicinity heard gunshots and quickly responded. They spotted an 18-year-old male, later identified as Peyton Reagan, running from the area carrying what appeared to be a rifle. After a brief pursuit, Reagan was apprehended.
Upon searching the area from which Reagan was seen fleeing, officers discovered Alexander Wilson in a parked blue Ford. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
