In the early morning hours of January 15, 2026, the life of 35-year-old Jahvee Taylor, also known as "Turtle," came to a tragic end on Milwaukee's north side. The incident unfolded around 4:45 a.m. near the intersection of 35th Street and Walnut Street, just to the east of Washington Park.
Milwaukee police officers were dispatched to the area following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered Taylor with a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
