On the evening of Friday, November 28, 2025, a gathering at a rural residence west of Goldfield, Iowa, turned into a tragedy when a firearm incident claimed the life of a young man. Around 8:19 p.m., the Humboldt County Dispatch Center received a frantic 911 call reporting a shooting at a home located on 210th Street.
