Death by Force

In the early morning hours of June 5, 2013, Birmingham police were called to an apartment complex just off Lakeshore Parkway. Once there, they found the 38-year old lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to UAB hospital where he later died.

Family and friends came together on the anniversary to remember Whittsett and to plead with the public to get his killer off the street. They are begging anyone with information to contact authorities.
