On December 12, 2025, in the town of Catskill, New York, 34-year-old Clifford Beauchard was tragically killed in a double murder-suicide. The incident unfolded around 12:18 p.m. when Greene County 911 received a chilling call from 22-year-old Connor Provo, who stated that he had killed his friends. This prompted an immediate response from the New York State Police from the Catskill barracks, who were assisted by the Greene County Sheriff's Office.

View Drive, law enforcement officials made a grim discovery inside a trailer on the property: Connor Provo was found deceased from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The search of the property continued, leading officers to a double-wide building where they found the bodies of two more men, both of whom had died from apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as Clifford Beauchard and 19-year-old Justin Acevedo, both residents of Catskill.
The preliminary investigation led authorities to believe that Provo had shot and killed Beauchard and Acevedo before taking his own life. Autopsies later confirmed that all three men died from gunshot wounds to the head. The New York State Police are investigating the case as a murder-suicide.
