On the afternoon of December 15, 2025, a violent encounter in the parking lot of a NAPA Auto Parts in Wendell, Idaho, left 35-year-old Matthew Bodsford dead from a fatal gunshot wound. The incident, which occurred around 4:30 p.m., was the culmination of a heated dispute between Bodsford and another man.
