On the evening of Sunday, December 21, 2025, a violent incident occurred in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, that claimed the life of an 18-year-old male named Aden Ramirez. Around 7:40 p.m., gunfire erupted on the 3800 block of West End Avenue. Following the shooting, Ramirez managed to transport himself to Loretto Hospital on the West Side. He entered the medical facility barely able to walk, suffering from a severe gunshot wound to the chest.
