On the morning of November 23, 2025, Leotis James Breedlove Jr, a 33-year-old Black/African American man, was shot multiple times outside a residence on the 200 block of Northwest Second Way in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Broward County Regional Communications received reports of gunfire at about 10:22 a.m., prompting Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue to respond to the scene.
