In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Diboll, Texas, the life of 19-year-old Lewis Alonzo Torres was tragically cut short. On November 2, 2025, Torres was at a party on El Paso Road when gunfire erupted. Deputies from the Angelina County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about the shooting at approximately 2:07 a.m. and discovered a scene of chaos. Three individuals had been shot. Lewis Alonzo Torres was pronounced dead at the scene.
