In a residential area of Huntington Beach, a burst of gunfire shattered the Sunday afternoon peace on November 9, 2025, leaving a man with fatal injuries. The victim was later identified as 42-year-old Ryan Daniel Ennis of Anaheim. Police responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Ash Lane and Mandrell Drive shortly before 2:30 p.m. and discovered Ennis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local trauma center, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
