Daniel Johnson, a 27-year-old Black man from Blountstown, Florida, spent his final Sunday evening not far from home, in the familiar surroundings of Cooper’s Park. Shortly after 6 p.m. on November 9, 2025, he was brought to Calhoun Liberty Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, and despite extensive efforts by medical staff to save him, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
