In the quiet community of La Marque, Texas, a family tragedy unfolded, leaving a mother dead and her teenage son facing a murder charge. On the evening of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, police responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the 1200 block of Kirsten Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Seakara Carter near the doorway of her home, suffering from a gunshot wound.
