Dajuan Hardrick-Hunt, a 39-year-old Black male, was shot on the night of October 23, 2025, along the railroad right-of-way near the 5300 block of Cherry Avenue in Long Beach, California. Officers responded around 9:45 p.m. and found him with a gunshot wound to the upper body; lifesaving efforts continued as paramedics transported him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
