Ray Dewayne Hodge, 35, a White male, was found dead on the afternoon of Friday, October 24, 2025, after deputies with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office responded around 12:58 p.m. to a shooting in the 200 block of Williamson Road near Marietta, just outside Fairmont. The call brought law enforcement to a residence where Hodge was discovered deceased at the scene. An obituary later confirmed his name, age, hometown of Fairmont, and date of death.
