Tyree Brooks, a 22-year-old Black male, was shot on the evening of October 25, 2025, on the 3200 block of Reisterstown Road in North Baltimore after a ShotSpotter alert brought officers to the scene. Responding officers found him and a 7-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds; both were rushed to area hospitals, where Brooks was pronounced dead and the child’s injuries were deemed non–life-threatening.
