Jacob Hearn, a 25-year-old male from Brighton, died on Sunday, October 5, 2025, after an early-morning shooting that drew Tipton County deputies to a home on Holly Grove Road. First responders found him wounded, and he was rushed to Baptist Memorial Hospital–Tipton, where he was pronounced dead. His death and age were later noted in funeral notices published by the family.
