Hector Vasquez, 35, a Hispanic male, was fatally shot on October 8, 2025, during a rolling shooting spree that began in Sugar Land and swept into southwest Houston. He was at work at his tire and mechanic shop when the violence reached him in the early afternoon, not long after a woman had been gunned down in Sugar Land near U.S. 90 and Dairy Ashford. The same suspect then drove to a Fondren-area auto shop, where two men were shot; one of them was Hector. Authorities later found the gunman dead ...
