Jarmone Smith, 42, a Black male, was shot on the evening of Saturday, October 11, 2025, in New Orleans. Police said he was found around 6 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the head in the 2600 block of Cambronne Street, within the Hollygrove/Leonidas area, and was rushed for emergency care but died at the hospital. The Orleans Parish Coroner later identified him as the victim.
