In the summer of 1989, Janis Pulliam, a 43-year-old Caucasian woman, mother, and secretary, was looking forward to a brief getaway. On July 10th, she left a note for her children, letting them know she was going on a short trip with a "special friend." She was last seen around noon that day. This trip, however, would end in tragedy, leaving a mystery that has endured for decades.
