Izell Leonard, a 32-year-old Black male known in music circles as YCA was shot to death on the afternoon of October 14, 2025, inside the Manchester Wellness Center, a cannabis dispensary at 962 West Manchester Avenue in South Los Angeles. Police were called to the 900 block of West Manchester around 12:43 p.m., where officers found Leonard mortally wounded; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
