Paul “Junebug” Stevenson, 48, a male Black/African American, spent his final evening standing outside his own club on Dixie Drive in southeast Houston, a place where he also poured his energy as a well-known barber and neighborhood fixture. Shortly before midnight on July 13, 2025, a car rolled past Bug’s Bar and unleashed a volley of gunfire into the crowd gathered out front.
