Shayna Pariyar, age 8, female, of Nepali origin, was found dead with her family on the night of June 5, 2025, in a downstairs apartment along the 9400 block of Lanae Lane in Manassas Park, Virginia. Police had been asked to conduct a welfare check around 10:40 p.m.; inside, officers discovered four people with gunshot wounds: Shayna Pariyar, age 8, a 2-year-old boy, and two adults identified as Santosh Pariyar, age 38, and Anju Shrestha, age 36.
