Trayven M. Thompson, 22, male, White/Caucasian, was shot and killed on the afternoon of May 25, 2025, in the 3100 block of Harshman Drive on the southeast side of Columbus. Patrol officers were dispatched at 2:29 p.m.; medics pronounced him dead at 2:37 p.m. The Columbus Division of Police identified him the following day, noting he was found on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds as investigators began piecing together what led to the gunfire.
