Labreya Street, 32, a Black woman from Durham, North Carolina, was shot late on the night of June 21, 2025, and died at the scene. Officers were called just after 11 p.m. to a home on Linwood Avenue near South Alston Avenue, where Labreya Street, 32, was found with gunshot wounds. She was identified publicly by police the following days.
