Tavon Donte Adams, 28, a Black male from Fayetteville, was killed in the early morning hours of July 7, 2025. Police were called at 2:02 a.m. to the 400 block of Slim Circle, off Camden Road, where they found him suffering from gunshot wounds; lifesaving efforts failed and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The case was immediately opened as a homicide by the Fayetteville Police Department.
