In the small, unincorporated community of Lane, Oklahoma, a quiet Sunday morning was shattered by a grim discovery. Alva Boyd Fortenberry, a 63-year-old White male, was found in a woman's yard in an area known to locals as the 'Crow's Nest' on May 4, 2025. A call was made to dispatch at approximately 11 a.m. reporting the presence of a man in the yard.
