In the late spring of 1982, the quiet community of Plainfield, New Hampshire, was unsettled by the disappearance of a local resident. Caucasian/White female Sylvia Gray, 76 years old, was reported missing on May 28, 1982. A search was launched, and two days later, on May 30, 1982, her body was discovered in the woods near her home on Daniels Road.
