In the late summer evening of August 17, 2025, a young White/Caucasian man's life was cut tragically short in a remote area south of Estacada, Oregon. Szachary Tyler White, a 21-year-old male from Vancouver, Washington, was with others at an informal "shooting pit" near Six Tie Road and Forest Service Road 4510, a location often used for recreational target practice on public land. It was here that he sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound under circumstances that remain under investigation.
