Is’shan Trowsdell, 24, male, Black, of Columbus, Ohio, was shot in the early morning hours of August 24, 2025, in the Italian Village neighborhood and died four days later at Grant Medical Center on August 28. Police and medics were called at 4:43 a.m. to the 300 block of East 1st Avenue, where they found two adults with gunshot wounds; Is’shan Trowsdell, 24, male, was rushed to the hospital in life-threatening condition while the other victim was treated and released.
