because Angel was suffering from seizures. She was initially taken to Lakes Region General Hospital and later transferred to Boston Children's Hospital due to the severity of her condition. Despite medical efforts, Angel passed away three days later, on August 15, 1989.
An autopsy revealed the devastating truth behind Angel's death; she had succumbed to blunt force trauma to her head. The examination also indicated that her injuries were not recent, suggesting they could have been up to a week old.
