A'Quarion Key’shaun “QBOP” Conecin was 18 years old, a male, and Black / African American. On the early evening of Friday, May 2, 2025, A'Quarion Conecin stood outside the Discount Depot in Carthage, Mississippi, when a gunshot tore into his chest. Police dispatchers logged the call at 5:39 p.m.; officers found the 18-year-old with a life-threatening wound. He was transported for treatment and later pronounced dead, as the police chief urged anyone with information to come forward.
