In a tragic turn of events on the evening of June 16, 2025, 25-year-old Kianna Jackson, a female resident of Pearl, Mississippi, was fatally shot while in the drive-through of a McDonald's in Brandon. The incident, which unfolded at the Stribling Lane location, is being investigated as a murder-suicide. Jackson was a cherished mother to her five-year-old daughter and three-year-old son.
