On a Saturday evening in Foxworth, Mississippi, a tragic event unfolded at the intersection of Taylor Cutoff Road and Highway 586, ending the life of 35-year-old Shanetra Marie Batie of Purvis. Authorities were called to the scene around 5:00 PM following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies and first responders discovered Shanetra Batie deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
