Jetavion Johnson, 18, male, was shot during a family gender-reveal gathering at Roosevelt State Park in Morton, Mississippi, on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Deputies and conservation officers were called to the area around the Alfreda-Harris Lodge shortly after 5 p.m. Reports indicate he was struck multiple times, including in the abdomen, before being taken to Scott Regional Hospital in Morton, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities identified him as a resident of the Newton area.
