During the evening hours of December 16, 1974, Shirley Grover was home with her 1 ½ year old daughter in their apartment on Euclid Ave. Her husband James Grover who was traveling was unable to reach his wife via phone due to a constant busy signal and requested friends/family check Shirley’s welfare. A neighbor located Shirley deceased inside her apartment and upon the arrival of police, her daughter was located in her bedroom.
