Monyette Marie Stephenson, age 45, a Black / African American woman, was shot and killed on the morning of June 16, 2025, in Odenton, Maryland. Police were called at about 10:13 a.m. to the Smith Bus Service on the 1800 block of Bucklina Avenue, where officers found Monyette Marie Stephenson, age 45, inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound and medics pronounced her dead at the scene. Investigators said the location was isolated and the killing appeared targeted.
