In a quiet Odenton, Maryland, home, the lives of a married couple came to a tragic end in what authorities would later describe as a targeted and isolated incident. On the morning of February 25, 2018, police were called to a residence on Brigadier Boulevard after a person living in the home discovered two people deceased inside. The victims were identified as 47-year-old Veronique Crystal Jackson, a female, and her 55-year-old husband, Charles James Edward Jackson. Both had sustained gunshot wounds.
Initially, the circumstances surrounding their deaths were considered suspicious, and homicide detectives began a thorough investigation. They collected evidence from the scene and interviewed family members and witnesses, piecing together the events that led to the grim discovery.
