William Alridge, a 41-year-old Black man from Lancaster, was found in the early hours of May 25, 2025, after deputies responded to a missing-person call around 1:50 a.m. on the 44000 block of Beech Avenue, just west of Sierra Highway. Investigators encountered a large box truck/U-Haul leaving the area; when they looked inside, they discovered the 41-year-old man in an open trash bin in the cargo area. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives traced the call to the Shadow Park Inn
