Kimana Sharieff, a 6-year-old girl who was Black/African American, was found dead on August 28, 2025, inside a Catonsville home after officers were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. for a welfare check to the 740 block of Wilton Farm Drive. Responding police discovered Kimana with an apparent gunshot wound; her mother, 42-year-old Chantel Sharieff, was also found inside the residence suffering from apparent trauma.
