Wayne McCarty, 89, a male resident of Bradley, Illinois, died on June 30, 2025, after he and his wife, Patricia McCarty, 88, were found shot inside their home in the early morning hours. Police were called to the residence at approximately 5:55 a.m. after a 911 call and discovered three people deceased from gunshot wounds. All were members of the same family.

Bradley police later identified the couple’s 61-year-old son, Michael McCarty, as the shooter. Investigators described the case ...
