Just after midnight on May 25, 2025, gunfire shattered a small gathering on the 200 block of Depot Street in Pineview, Wilcox County. When investigators arrived, two people lay dead at the scene: Charleston Calix, 40, a male resident of Pineview, and Nathadius Kenta Lawson, 36.
