Corey Shaw, 54, a male and a Black resident of Los Angeles, was shot in South Los Angeles on the night of June 6, 2025. Officers responded to a shots-fired call just before 10 p.m. near 73rd Street and Broadway, where they found him wounded. He was taken by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
