Seventeen-year-old Chyler Paton, a Black/African American male, was shot and killed on the night of June 18, 2025, outside a home in the 23000 block of Huber Avenue in Torrance, California. Police received shots-fired calls just before 9 p.m.; when officers arrived they found 17-year-old Chyler Paton in the driveway with a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
