James Calvin Miller Jr., a 39-year-old male from Locust Grove, Georgia, died on June 25, 2025. That morning, Locust Grove police were dispatched to a home on Weymouth Drive in the Bridle Creek subdivision after reports of a domestic disturbance and gunfire. When officers arrived, shots were still being fired inside the residence. They entered and found one man dead and a woman wounded; the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
