Darion Pharr, a 22-year-old male who was Black / African American, was shot around midday on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the View at Stonecrest apartments on Tree View Drive in Stonecrest, Georgia. DeKalb County police said officers arrived at the complex just after noon and found the 22-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds; he died from his injuries at the scene. Investigators indicated they were exploring whether an argument led to the violence.
