Maria Garza, 40, was found shot to death on July 13, 2025, inside a home on Stone Hill Drive in unincorporated Stone Mountain, Georgia. Police were called around 4 p.m. after a relative reported the violence; when officers arrived, they discovered Maria Garza, 40, and another person with gunshot wounds, and pronounced both dead at the scene.
