Lakretia Clancy, 27, a Black woman from Hinesville, Georgia, was shot on the night of July 15, 2025, while seated in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle near Strickland Road and E.G. Miles Parkway. Officers responding to reports of gunfire found her wounded and rushed her for emergency care; she was airlifted to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, where she died during surgery the following day.
